Happy Wednesday! It’s Steph Dietitian on FoodCoach.Me with a Weekly Wednesday Video! Today I want to review a few products thanks to Kays Naturals. They sent me a box of samples to try and I’me excited to share some of my favorites with you. I’ve tried high protein pretzels and soy puffs in the past and was excited to see some more flavors available with Kays. The snacks are protein based, between 10-12 grams of protein and fairly low in carbs about 15 grams. This is pretty equivalent to a protein bar so when you are tired of sweet protein bars, a salty crunchy snack like this is a great alternative.

The flavors they sent me include Jalapeño Honey Mustard Pretzels, Cinnamon Toast Pretzels, Chili Nacho Cheese Chips, White Cheddar Puffs, Almond Delight Protein Puffs, Mac & Cheese Protein Puffs, Sweet BBQ Snack Mix, Original Pretzel Sticks, and Crispy Parmesan Chips. The sample box included a few others like cereals but they aren’t the best choice for postop patients unless you eat them dry. Having milk and cereal…even protein cereal…is like drinking with your meals and should be avoided.

My favorites were the Sweet BBQ Mix , Crispy Parmesan Chips and the Cinnamon Toast Pretzels. To try these products out for yourself, follow the link below. They also included a 30% discount for ordering through today’s video…awesome!!!
