Turkey Kielbasa and Sweet Peppers Skillet
Turkey Kielbasa and Sweet Peppers Skillet
Dairy free high protein recipe using turkey kielbasa and sweet peppers
Essentially a ‘no cook’ recipe!
Because this recipe calls for pre-cooked turkey kielbasa sausage, there really is no true cooking involved! The most work you’ll have for this Turkey Kielbasa and Sweet Peppers Skillet is to slice the ingredients.
Once the peppers, onions and turkey sausage are sliced, all you’re really doing is heating it all together! The flavor and aroma is delicious on this one. I really love being able to run in my house and have an amazing smelling dinner ready 20 minutes later.
(This is another favorite “no cook” style recipes using chicken/turkey sausages and pineapples.)
Also a dairy free recipe!
For differing reasons, I have weight loss surgery patients coming to me looking for dairy free recipes quite often. This is a great recipe that calls for no cheese or yogurt.

Where to find the ingredients
You can typically find kielbasa sausage at most grocery stores where you might find hot dogs or other pre-packaged meats. I purchased mine at Aldi.
For this recipe I bought a bag of miniature sweet bell peppers, also from Aldi. If your store doesn’t carry the small bell peppers, you can buy larger red, yellow and/or orange bell peppers and cut them into strips.
