Breakfast ideas after bariatric surgery. Cottage cheese and berries! Berries are the lowest sugar fruit and pairs well with cottage cheese.

Portions dependent on your own pouch.

Eat two bites of cottage cheese (or Greek yogurt) to every one bite of fruit. If having Greek yogurt, avoid fruit. Might start with 1 cup cottage cheese and 1/4 cup berries and adjust to your fullness. Video on Greek yogurt

Portion sizes differ. If using 2/3 cup cottage cheese and 1/4 cup berries will provide estimated 21 grams protein, 8 grams carbohydrate and 3 grams fat.
