I still can’t say Thank You enough for all the sweet messages during this healing process! I have been asked for an update and finally feeling up to posting something today. (Wahoo!)

This has been the theme of the past several weeks: Good morning, bad evening. Bad morning, better afternoon, worse evening. I can say, however, at 37 days after the accident…I truly am feeling more like myself. I even got to go to church yesterday! AND I made some deviled eggs. Now you KNOW I am starting to feel more like myself :)

I am healing at my parents house and soo thankful for family time. However, it means Kevin is away and I am missing him terribly! Counting down the days until I can see him, and maaaaaybe counting down the days until our wedding. (Ahem, 96…)

I have had several people ask what they can be praying for (Thank You!) and these are the five big ticket items I believe are left:

1. Healing of the fistula in my right carotid artery (yes, it’s okay to google that.)

2. That I can get my neck/back brace removed next Monday!

3. Restored hearing in my right ear.

4. Improvement in movement of left elbow.

5. Relief of head and neck pain.

When you think of the long (and scary) list of prayer requests we started with, you can see how much The Lord has done for us! Thank you for being so invested in my story. I will never hesitate to tell you all the details if you ask. The good ones, the bad ones, the ugly ones….Buuuut trust me- you probably don’t want the ugly ones!

HAPPY, HAPPY New Year to everyone! Be Safe and take time to Thank the Lord for his work in your life in 2012!! I know I will!

  9. Stephanie,

I am so glad to hear that you are feeling better little by little. I was so sorry to hear of your accident. You have been my prayers. God DOES indeed answer them. I am a firm believer. We have spoken of this before. Prayers got me through a bad health event and I know they will get you through too. You are a beautiful person inside and out. I am so glad that we met. You are an inspiration to us all.
