  1. I am so excited about this website it’s only been a couple of days but I’m very motivated now thank you I know that this is going to help me. I’ve been praying that the Lord shows me the right way to get my meals and motivation back on track!❤️

  2. @Cheryl Graves I’m so excited to hear that and excited to have you! Don’t hesitate to let me know how I can support you either by email steph@foodcoach.me or in our online community. Go get ’em!

  3. I love soups! That being said…is it a good idea to steer clear of soups, since liquids travel through the stomach faster? If it isn’t OK to drink with food , what about the “broths” that are used to cook proteins/veggies?

  4. @Katie Burns great question! I love soups too. I think the best way to approach it is to make it a thick and hearty soup (sometimes called stoups by Rachael Ray – like a stew soup) because this gets you the flavor and temperature that is comforting with soups but still filling protein without too much liquid to move through. The other thing you can do is drink the broth first (I allow my patients to drink until the first bite, then avoid liquid with the meal and 45-60 minutes after) so you could sip on the broth and then switch to using a fork to eat the meat and veggies. If you cook using a broth, use a slotted spoon to then serve the meal itself.
